Launch of News Show Targeting the Chicagoland Hispanic Market

The 2013 launch of Hoy Noticias was a partnership between the Chicago daily Hoy and Noticias Mundo Fox 13 to leverage Hoy’s local coverage on Cable TV. The launch of the program comprised mainly of in-paper advertising, as well as point-of-sale and out-of-home billboard advertising.

A series newspaper wraps were run before, the day of and just after the first airing of Hoy Noticias. The wrap prior showcased the new studio built for the show dimly light saying “Tomorrow. Lights, camera…action.”  This was followed up with wraps highlighting Hoy Noticias anchor Nicole Saurez and an introduction from the General Manager of the tabloid. Hoy continued to run advertising to reinforce the message with a call to action to the stations on various cable providers. Additional explorations were developed later on to highlight the show’s personalities.

POS|Out-of Home Signage

Part of the media campaign the use of signage through out Chicagoland. This portion of the campaign comprised the use of Hoy’s honor boxes, as well as the use of traditional and digital billboards at select locations in Chicagoland.
